Disney World Orlando Value Resorts
Disney World Orlando Florida has over 30’000 rooms for guests and it’s always expanding. From Value rooms to Deluxe Villas Disney World has something for everyone. So with that in mind, I have tried to put together an overall view of each resort and what it has to offer, hopefully, it will help you decide what is right for you. All resorts have good transportation links, buses, monorail, taxis, sky liner and self-drive (there is ample parking however parking charges may change so please check before you travel)
I will try to list them in some sort of order from the Value in this post through to the deluxe in other posts, seeing as there are so many to choose from. We have stayed on-site and eaten in lots of different resort hotel restaurants and we always like to explore while there.
Value Resort
Although these are classed as Value Resorts they are actually very well equipped and very well presented. If you are like me and spend a lot of time in the parks then a bed for the night is really all you need, however, there is so much more to these resorts than just beds! Generally, rooms can take up to 4 Adults and Family Rooms for up to 6 people, if you require more or something different I would advise giving reservations a call they are very good!
Disney’s All-Star Resorts
Transportation for these hotels is Bus, taxi, or self-drive.
Disney All-Star Movie resort, favorite friends from Movies like 101 Dalmatians, and the Toys from Andy’s Room decorate this colorful Resort, larger than life statues of dotted pups and buildings with film reel windows are just a couple of things to take in. With Standard and Preferred rooms available and wheelchair accessibility, this is a true family favorite. Splash around in its Fantasia Themed pool or dine in the Premiere Food Court or even watch a Movie under the Stars (on selected nights please check availability).
Disney All-Star Music resort, music lovers let the rhythm move you at this music-themed resort. Oversized icons of music and themed balconies entice and enhance your stay. There’s even a Guitar shaped pool to have a swim in. Standard, Family, and preferred rooms are available here. Grab a snack in the Intermission Food Court. Stay in a Music themed Family room that sleeps up to 6.
Disney All-Star Sports resort, Sports, and more sports. Larger-than-life American Football Helmets sits between buildings the décor continues throughout. There’s a pool with a surfboard motif and you can eat at the End Zone Food Court. Standard and preferred rooms are available here. It’s a must for all sports fans who love Disney.
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Transportation here is Bus, taxi, self-drive, or the Sky Liner.
A beautiful resort or enchantment, artistry, and magic; you get to explore the storybook landscapes like Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid, with themed family rooms for up to 6 and courtyards and gardens to explore it certainly is one for the family. With Sky Liner transport direct to Hollywood Studios and Epcot, it’s an easy choice! This resort also has the largest resort pool in the whole of Disney World Resorts ‘The Big Blue Pool’ is themed to suit the resort and there are two more themed pools here with a poolside snack and drink availability. Landscapes of Flavours cater to all your dining and it’s a Dog-friendly resort.
Disney’s Pop Century Resort
Transportation here is also by Bus, Taxi, Self-Drive or The Sky Liner.
A unique resort based in the last half of the twentieth century, from Yo-Yo’s to Rubik’s Cube and Roller Blades the timeless classics are saluted here. The Hippy Dippy 1960’s pool sprawls outside the main buildings with flower-shaped water jets, a kiddie pool, and two smaller themed pools nearby. The rooms are standard and preferred at this resort and some have a pool view. You can shop and eat in the main building.
The campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.
Yes, there are even Campsites available to hire. Camp in the American Frontier at Fort Wilderness a wide range of pitches and hook-ups are available so it’s probably best to see what suits you here. Tents aren’t my thing so I would not like to advise in any way. I can say however it is a beautiful place to sleep underneath the stars if that is what you are your family like to do.
