This is my guide to the rides/attractions that are found at Animal Kingdom.
I have included the location of the ride, if any height restrictions apply, fast pass eligibility and my thoughts to help plan your families vacation.
Avatar Flight of Passage
This is the most sort after ride in Animal Kingdom. This ride is amazing, breathtaking. I would describe this as a simulator ride, you are on the back of a banshee. This may cause motion sickness. But I LOVED this ride.

Dinosaur
Take a wild ride seeing dinosaurs through time. If you get motion sickness there are a few bumps and jolts along the way along with some scary moments.

Discovery Island Trails
As you walk around the tree of life get ready to find some animals along the way.

Expedition Everest
This roller coaster is amazing… it’s a ride in the wild with lots of twists and turns before you find yourself flying backwards.

Festival of the Lion King.
What can I say about this amazing show – it’s like being transported to Broadway – But, with a sing-a-long twist. A firm family favorite. Filled with fun and laughter.

Finding Nemo.
Finding Nemo is a puppet show on stage – this is a great way to rest and enjoy the air conditioning. It explores the adventures of Nemo.

Its Tough To Be A Bug
This show is a great family show – unless you are scared of creepy crawlies or spiders. This show features characters from Bugs Life.

Kali River Rapids
Kali River Rapids is a raft ride – perfect on a super hot day. There is a good chance that you will get soaked – so if you don’t want to get wet wear a poncho.

Kilimanjaro Safari Ride.
A Guided safari ride – I have to say this is one of my favorites, they are driving a real truck and you get to see a lot of animals, the guides know a lot of stuff about all the animals you see & my all time favorite time to ride is either a morning or evening (dusk).

Na’vi River Journey
A slow boat ride in the dark through the world of Pandora. A lot of people have mixed feelings on this ride. While it is stunning & has great attention to detail. I wouldn’t worry if I couldn’t ride it.

Primeval Whirl
This is an intense whirling ride. May be best to avoid if you have motion sickness.

TriceraTop Spin
Here you are riding a dinosaur (very much like the dumbo ride) This is a great family favorite especially for small kids & young at heart adults.

Ride this slow train, this can be a fun way to see the park and to take a rest.
